Often in school it can feel like you’re the only one messing up and everyone else has it together. The truth is, everyone messes up, and that’s okay! That’s what resilience is about — bouncing back from mistakes. Hosted by student org leaders in The Mental Health Coalition and Hokie Wellness, the goal is to remind every Hokie that mistakes are normal and failure is valuable. Hokie Hiccups is an event acknowledging and celebrating the hiccups, failures, and missteps we’ve all experienced in our lives. It’s an opportunity for Hokies to share their stories through different expressive arts and creative mediums. Consider performing or feel free to just come and be in community with your fellow Hokies! For more info or to submit a “Hiccup,” go to www.hokiewellness.vt.edu/hokiehiccups or see the Facebook Event page for details.
