You’re invited to participate in a dissertation study examining the impact of emotion regulation on evaluations of leaders. This is an online Zoom/Qualtrics study that will last about 50 minutes and you’ll receive a $10 Amazon gift card as compensation. During the session, you will watch a Pollock documentary and scenes from the TV show “The Office” and may be asked to regulate your emotions as you watch these videos. This part of the study will be video-recorded on Zoom. Then you will watch more videos of a leader and business managers and answer some surveys related to what you have watched. You need to be 18+ and proficient in English to participate. Please contact Elsheba Abraham at elsheba@vt.edu if you’re interested! IRB# 20-336
