Subjects are needed for a Virginia Tech research study measuring balance on ladders (IRB# 22-089).  The purpose of this study is to measure balance during simulated construction work on a ladder.  This information will be useful in reducing the risk of falls off ladders. Participants will be asked to complete one session lasting approximately 2 hours.  During this session, participants will be asked to climb a ladder and simulate construction work while we measure your balance.  There is a chance you might fall off the ladder, but we have rock climbing pads to cushion any fall.  Participants are eligible to participate if you:  are 18-35 years old; are not heavier than 220 pounds; are not taller than 5 ft 10 in ; do not wear glasses (contacts are acceptable). Subjects will be compensated $15/hour for time and effort. For more information, please email madbiogroup@gmail.com.
